Russell Lilliebridge wins ‘Player of the Tournament’ in the Inaugural Windscale Open

This weekend saw the inaugural Windscale Open arranged by Match Point. We were represented by two Kendal players – Russell Lilliebridge and Mark Jackson. Both were put in the B group. A HUGE well done to Russ who made it all the way to the final, but alas victory was not to be as he lost 2-1 to the number one seed. Nevertheless second place is still a great achievement. After getting beat by Russ in the first round Mark managed one win and one loss.
