About Us

The Club

Kendal Squash and Racketball Club is a thriving friendly club owned and run by its members. The club has three well-maintained courts, viewing facilities and changing rooms with hot water for the showers. We want everyone to enjoy squash and racketball in a comfortable and safe environment. We are affiliated to the national governing body, England Squash.

Friday night is Club Night which offers a good opportunity to meet and play different people of varying standard in a friendly environment. It’s also a good way to learn more about the Rules of the Game. Prospective members are very welcome to come and look round and have a game from 6.30pm onwards.

As there is no bar on the premises, Club members often stroll across to the Brewery Arts Centre for a drink after playing. Many a legendary social night has ensued!

Court Bookings

Courts are booked using our online booking facility. This allows members to book and cancel courts from wherever they have access to the internet, 24 hours a day. There is a touch screen booking kiosk at the club which can be used if internet access isn’t available.

Court booking fees are very reasonable at £6.00 for a 45 minute session (split between two players this is £3.00 each) or £3.00 for a solo practice session. Club members are welcome to bring guests to play in which case courts cost £9.00 per game.
