Winter handicap tournament
The next club tournament will be a Friday timed handicap on Friday December 2nd. Entry sheet and further details will be posted at the club mid- November.
Mike McElroy memorial match
All club members are invited to play in the match held in memory of Mike McElroy, a long-standing member of the club who died last year. The format will be a team match with over 50 playing under 50s for the MCElroy trophy kindly donated by Ian Mitchell and Keith Sedgwick. More info from Shayne Holliday (u 50) or Ian Mitchell (o 50).
Date: 12 November start 1300. Followed by drinks and sandwiches in the Castle Inn. All welcome.

Team Squash
Team squash started on October 17/18. We have two mens and one ladies team playing. Cumbria league results are online at

Team training: Sunday evenings from 7pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and try some Squash routines. More info from Alistair Pease. Or just turn up on the night.
Club Kit
We've got a new design of club shirt - stylishly modelled here!
It is a lightweight wicking material with the club logo embroidered on the left chest. It comes in a range of sizes and colours. Good quality, combines function and fashion, reasonable price...

Forthcoming work party : Saturday 29th October
Club plans to run a work party on the morning of Saturday October 29 to tackle some essential jobs around the club.
We plan to start at 0900 and finish before midday.

Junior squash
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday over the half term week, two courts will be available for juniors (9 -13 years). The sessions will run from 1030 to 1145 on Monday 24, Wednesday 26 and and Friday 28 October. A coach will be on site to provide supervision and guidance. Entry fee £2 per session (can be deducted from your squash account). Please enrol in advance: email guy@kendalsquash.com
