AGM
The Squash Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place at the club on Tuesday 22 June 2010 at 1930. All club members are invited to attend. We plan to make this a sociable occasion and free food and drink will be provided. The courts will not be available for squash that evening. The AGM agenda is posted at the club
As you probably know, the club is owned by its members and run by an elected committee. The committee of around 8 members meets about 10 times a year. We are keen to get new blood on the committee and welcome interest from recent members.
If you can offer your time, enthusiasm and skills please consider standing for the 2010-2011 committee. The nomination form is posted at the club

Subscription renewals
As 2009-10 subscriptions run out on June 30, renewals are due before the end of June.
A membership form is available here. Please complete this and return it with your cheque to Guy Fenech, 4 Milton Terrace, Grange-over-Sands LA11 6AG. Forms will also be available at the club.
Subscriptions must be renewed in order to maintain your booking rights and key fob access.
Please note that if subscriptions are not renewed by July 15 2010, then an additional Joining Fee of £15.00 will be charged (£25.00 for joint members).
Half Term Coaching for Juniors
Half term Junior coaching will run on Tuesday 1 June and Wednesday 2 June 2010 from 1430- around 1630
All junior members and other interested youngsters between 7 and 17 are invited. Sessions cost £1.00 per head. Equipment available (please bring clan. non-marking shoes). Refreshments will be provided.

Improvers' Group Coaching
Group coaching for improvers is running on Sunday evening (1915) and on Wednesday evening (1945).

Summer Coaching
We will be running group coaching sessions for beginners and improvers starting Wednesday May 19 (1945) and Sunday May 16 (1915)
Groups will be a maximum of four per court with an experienced and qualified coach. The sessions will be enjoyable and help people improve their squash and their undersatnding of the rules.
Cost will be £10.00 for a series of four sessions. We plan to have run courses for beginners and improvers.

Coaching for juniors
Juniors Wanted for Free Coaching
The club has five trainee coaches who want to develop their skills in coaching young people. They are available for small group, or individual coaching of under 16s. There will be no charge for the coaching sessions

A generous (anonymous) sponsor has put up prizes and this year there will be a cash prize for both the winner and the runner up.

The club is holding an Open Afternoon on Saturday March 6th from 2.00-4.00
