Club Night
The Club invites members and visitor to play at “Club Night” which is every Friday from 6.30pm to around 9.30pm. Lights are paid for on an ad hoc basis using members' booking accounts.
The beauty of Club Night is that it is very much social squash. Players from absolute beginners to those of a high standard regularly attend. It’s a chance to play different people and meet new friends and playing partners and because games are restricted to 15 minutes, you can play 6 or more opponents if you’re fit enough! It’s also a great way to learn more about the rules in a less competitive environment.
After the squash is over, many players pop over to VATs bar at the Brewery to wind down, re-hydrate and socialise. There have been numerous legendary Friday nights there with great banter and the occasional singalong! Many a good friendship has been forged in the Brewery on the back of Club Night.
